A young and dynamic company that operates in the certified organic cosmetics sector, we have a vast knowledge of formulas based on organic raw materials of 100% natural origin, with the best active biotechnological ingredients present in the market. Passion and commitment drive us daily to develop new formulas with low environmental impact with a predominant plant component, without impairing the product’s effectiveness.
In 1998 Enrico Piacentino and Rino Martino, who had recently completed their scientific training, created their company: GMP Cosmetics SRL, a company specialising in the distribution of small-run, customised, private label cosmetics. Thus was born, in 2002, BIOLIFE SRL, a company specialising in the production and distribution of beauty products both under its own brand, and for third parties, also with full services. The company, also in collaboration with internationally renowned consultants and formulators, gradually acquired more and more skills in the production of organic cosmetics, even with 100% natural origin, up to the most complex formulas with innovative active biotechnological ingredients of aesthetic medicine.
We have an in-house laboratory for carrying out tests on new formulations with various physical, chemical and microbiological analyses. We also provide assistance to carry out: Challenge tests, or “skin irritation tests”; Effectiveness of solar products (SPF number in vivo and in vitro), and any analysis for heavy metals or regulated toxic and harmful substances; Effectiveness tests of the cosmetic product’s performance; Tests for chemical physical and microbiological stability in the light of new regulations that provide an indication of the PAO (Period After Opening); Upon completion of each project a technical dossier with all specifications is released along with documents for the registration in foreign markets (PIF - product information files, safety rating, CPNP – Cosmetic Product Notification Portal etc.) a complete service.
Thanks to a team of experts, BIOLIFE Srl offers a complete service from formulative development to the creation of the finished product. It is able to manage “full service” supply, collaborating with the customer even at the definition stage of packaging, text and graphics. Each year our Research & Development laboratories develop new formulas that will become successful products.
